1. Do I need to cook or heat the gum powder before use? No. All JayChem adhesive products are Cold Water Soluble. You simply need to mix the powder with normal tap water and stir it for the recommended time (usually 20-30 minutes). This saves you significant fuel and electricity costs compared to traditional cooking gums.

2. Is your Corrugation Gum suitable for Automatic Plants? Yes. We manufacture a specific high-viscosity grade of Corrugation Gum Powder designed for 3-ply, 5-ply, and 7-ply automatic plants. It is formulated to dry instantly at high machine speeds, ensuring the board does not delaminate during cutting or creasing.

3. What is the mixing ratio for your powder? While the exact ratio depends on your specific paper quality and machine speed, our standard recommendation is:

• Corrugation Gum: 1 part powder to 5 parts water.

• Pasting Gum: 1 part powder to 3 or 5 parts water.

• Our technical team will guide you to the exact ratio to get the best mileage.

4. Can you customize the viscosity for my machine? Absolutely. We understand that every setup is different. If you require a specific viscosity (e.g., 25 seconds vs. 40 seconds on a B4 Cup) or a specific solid content, we can manufacture a custom batch to match your requirements.

5. Do you provide samples for testing? Yes, we highly encourage testing. We can send a free sample to your factory so you can check the bonding strength and drying time in your own lab or on your machine before placing a bulk order.

6. What is the shelf life of your starch adhesive? When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct moisture, our Modified Starch Powder has a shelf life of 12 months. We use high-quality HDPE bags with inner liners to ensure the powder stays fresh.

7. Do you supply outside of Gujarat? Yes, JayChem Industries supplies adhesive solutions across India. Whether you are in Maharashtra, Delhi, South India, or local in Rajkot, we have a robust logistics network to ensure the timely delivery of your order.
